Based on Joanne’s proprietary research that involved over 100 phone interviews with fabulous women working in STEM at all levels, this topic is all about confidence. Joanne asked forty-five, sometimes intimate questions, and one clear theme emerged. Regardless of industry or years in the work force: Women struggle with a lack of confidence.

Know you are not alone and that we can tackle this issue. In this Jam Session, we’ll hear what she found, directly from women just like you and in their own words. And most importantly, we’ll discover the five simple, effective ways to build your personal courage.

Joanne Vitali is the Geek Girl coach. A former nuclear engineer and NASA astronaut trainer, she coaches women to attain and strengthen their rightful leadership roles, with a special focus on STEM women. She has taught at Wharton and spoken to groups like IEEE Women in Engineering and the Healthcare Business Women’s Association. Her clients include names like Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Siemens. Her articles have appeared in Huffington Post, Thrive Global, Entrepreneur and Medium. Joanne’s mission is to achieve gender parity and looks forward to the day when 50% female senior leadership in corporations is an everyday thing. She relishes helping all women own their brilliance.
