The WAF has identified several areas of focus to promote gender equality within SP+. Our plans include improving recruitment, employee retention, improving diversity at the executive level and addressing gender stereotypes in the workplace. To support our strategies and goals, we have developed various programs and initiatives.

Mentoring Program

Our Mentoring Program is one of the essential benefits of being involved with SP+’s Women’s Advisory Forum. Mentors are paired with mentees in order to help them develop professional skills, network and advance in their careers.


The Women’s Advisory Forum is continuously looking for ways to foster growth, leadership and success for women. The Resources Program is currently providing access to webinars, live events, educational news articles and interviews. In addition to these internal resources, the Resource Program awards education scholarships on an annual basis.
