Please join us in congratulating Shawne Williams for being the WAF Compass Star of December 2019.
Shawne is a Star who works as a Facility Manager in Lexington, Kentucky office. Shawne’s role as a Facility Manager requires her to have high levels of flexibility, creative thinking, and resourcefulness. A typical day may include revenue reporting, preparing budgets, working with payroll, and providing her clients with the best service possible.
We are proud to report that Shawne is approaching her 18th year with SP+! Her positive attitude and enthusiasm has propelled her forward as an effective manager and inspiring leader. Upon reflection, Shawne shared, “Everything you want in life is worth working hard for.” We can see why Shawne has been able to form and foster admirable and long-lasting relationships with colleagues and clients. “I strive to become a better me.” She mused.
Shawne’s vision of a better world energizes her to work with an organization that feeds the homeless community in her area. “The cause that is dearest to me is the homeless population in Lexington, KY… I really enjoy giving back.” Truly inspiring!
Did you know that softball is Shawne’s favorite pastime? Most wouldn’t know but she is an avid softball player. She even played softball in college on an athletic scholarship!
In closing, Shawne has shared her favorite quote, ” If you really want the key to success, start by doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing ” by Brad Szollose.
